I may be able to answer some of your cloud computing questions... But bear in mind that Cloud Computing or SaaS is just someone else's servers.. there's nothing magical about it.

Sorry-- I had forgotten about this thread. It was more of a question about which direction you'd recommend a kid going to school to go into. One of my progeny is trying to choose between the two paths and I'm trying to help him gain insight as to which option might have better opportunities.
