If you have no understanding of how the economy operates...do a little research.
Definition
In a 1974 The New York Times article, Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics Julius Shiskin suggested that a rough translation of the bureau's qualitative definition of a recession into a quantitative one that almost anyone can use might run like this:
In terms of duration—declines in real G.N.P. for 2 consecutive quarters; a decline in industrial production over a six‐month period.
In terms of depth—A 1.5 per cent decline in real G.N.P.; a 15 per cent decline non-agricultural employment; a two‐point rise in unemployment to a level of at least 6 percent.
In terms of diffusion—A decline in non-agricultural employment in more than 75 per cent of industries, as measured over six‐month spans, for 6 months or longer. [9][10][11]
In the United States, the Business Cycle Dating Committee of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is generally seen as the authority for dating US recessions. The NBER, a private economic research organization, defines an economic recession as: "a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale- retail sales". [12] The NBER is considered the official arbiter of recession start and end dates. [13][14][15]
In the United Kingdom, recessions are generally defined as two consecutive quarters of negative economic growth, as measured by the seasonal adjusted quarter-on-quarter figures for real GDP. [16][8] The European Union does not use this definition, instead using a range of other criteria such as employment rate and the depth of decline in economic activity

So from your Wikipedia understanding, the US fulfills all the requirements of a recession?

In recessions, it is supposed to be hard to get a job.
Are you implying that businesses need to pay more so workers do not have to work multiple jobs?

Your understanding of the economy is piss poor at best.
When the dollars buys less because of the policies of branon and his circus clowns that have driven the cost of EVERYTHING up that is a pay cut...pure and simple, again you can't comprehend that. It has nothing to do with employers needing to pay worker more as you foolishly imply because their dollars aren't buying what they did a year ago.
Turnip head has given ALL worker a pay cut when their wages aren't keeping up with inflation because of the lefts out of control spending...I know that is beyond your comprehension.
You being an elitist like the rest of the leftwing nuts in gumment telling people to buy EV's with starting prices of 65K and up when they are struggling just to survive. The left is hung up on this "green energy" nonsense and fuck the people. How fucking arrogant and out of touch is that?? This shit never happened under Trump.
The MILLIONS of working class Americans have to do with less while the snob elitist laugh at their plight...nice that you can snub your nose at these hard working Americans struggling to survive. You can talk all the bullshit you want but it doesn't change the fact that brandon and his minions are bad news for the country.
If this doesn't speak volumes nothing does...brandon owns this and it's just getting worse hence the recession we are now experiencing.
