Yes, I make suggestions which is exactly what I was asking from you! MAKE A SUGGESTION as to how to steer China in a different direction.

Do you really not understand that it was a suggestion I was asking for not a "solution"?

Anybody that suggests they have a "solution" to any problem is begging for a fall. A suggestion is just that, not a solution.

Now that you know the difference between a suggestion and a solution, got any suggestions on how to steer China in a different direction like the first time I asked you?

FYI, I made neither a suggestion or a solution on how to steer China in a different direction because we did that years ago by giving them favored nation status, it didn't work because NOTHING will "deter" China from being a thugocracy. Anybody with even half a brain should have known that but as we can all see, they were wrong.

Come to think of it, I do have a suggestion, not a solution to the China problem.

https://www.cotton.senate.gov/news/p...-nation-status

COTTON INTRODUCES BILL TO END CHINA’S PERMANENT MOST-FAVORED-NATION STATUS

Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today introduced a bill that would strip China of its permanent most-favored-nation status—also known as Permanent Normal Trade Relations—a designation it has held for the last twenty years. If passed, the legislation would make extending most-favored-nation status to China an annual decision for Congress and the president.

This is not a solution to the China problem, it is the next thoughtful step in how to deal with China. Is it a solution, no, it is not.

Glad to see you admit to making suggestions here.
Didn't say what you made suggestion about.
But all the same.

Seeing I admit to not pulling my fair share of suggestions, i'll do that.

Ideally, I like an open dialogue where people, when they are asked where they got the inspiration of what they post, will quote the source of what they write.

But you're making a big assumption that i know the difference knowing the difference between suggestion and solution

So, for suggestions. Temporal factor is not to be considered. Would have been nice if a unified China was established at end of WWII. As with Korea, leaving a *renegade* (for lack of better words) causes problems down the road most of the time. And the longer it stands, the more of a problem it will be.

For today, hell, we should have China call in its IOU. Let it reek havoc with both our countries. In the past I said that the USA would more than likely be the first to recover. But seeing the inroads China has made all around the world (with us not paying more attention to "shithole" nations in Africa, turning our back on old alliances in Europe, letting them enter hotspots we were in, paving the way for their own digital currency) *I* feel we are putting ourselve out in the cold.
