With this snow we just had i am fed up with the tractor, just cant handle it anymore. Anyone here know where to buy a new atv for a reasonable price? I want to go to a dealer even if it is more pricey than some dude on craigslist selling me one that has been used more than the girls on lc. I dont know anything about them so I would rather get one that will last a while with no problems.

No idea what their pricing is these days, but I dealt with this Polaris dealer in an old job and they were good to work with. Our team preferred the Polaris over the John Deere Gator

Honda, plain and simple the best, I have a 2003 Rincon and its still going strong, had to replace the carb a year ago, other than that, general maintenance, replaced the tires earlier this year, 18 years on the stock tires.

What do you plan on using it for? I have a Polaris for around the house but you’ll never have more fun than on a Yamaha Raptor 700, it’s by far the best trail/track buggy I’ve ever owned.

I really liked this one as it's still fun to run, but can be a fucking mule for pulling things or using a plow for snow. http://www.bentleysmotorcycles.com/N...ley-s-11577913

... I think that car trader bloke named Kenny Ross might
have one or two if you check his lots.

I'm surely thinkin' his Aunt Penny is prolly in the cemetery by now.
May she rest in peace.

If you're using it for plowing, you need a heavier four wheel drive ATV. If you're going to put a salt spreader box on the back, expect it to rust like crazy. Those salt spreaders destroy the underside pretty quickly. Given the price of used ATVs at the moment, a new one is probably just as good a deal, especially with the current low interest rates.

Thanks for the feedback. I plan on using it to plow my driveway and our road. I live on a private road. I am not going to use it for salting just plowing. And probably ride it around in the summer once in a while.

Also, invest in a set of chains. They'll save your tires from wearing down as quick and give a lot of great extra traction when plowing. Good luck!

If you can go say $10,000.00 to $15,000.00 or so go for a side x side. Much more comfortable to ride and someone can ride beside you they also have a bed in the back to haul things.

A side by side is heavier the a four wheeler which will help in pushing snow.

Most brands are good I prefer Polaris. Spend a few more thousand dollars more and get what you want, it will last you a lifetime.

If it’s exclusively for around the house, you can’t go wrong with a John Deere Gator.
