I usually come on this site to read and share intel on SPs but I want to thank the poster who reminded us permit holders to recertify. mine was due in 4 weeks! when I got my permit in 87 it was "good til revoced". now of course SAFE changed things. took all of 5 minites to recertify. good for 5 years! as an aside I used to carry when I used to pick up SWs on the West side many moons ago. picked up a hot one, back to her second floor flat. on my back getting serviced, look up at hole in ceiling and see someone watching.WTF. finish up ,here guy come down stairs to confront me. opened jacket to show 9mm in shoulder holster. very quiet after that.In current times it would be SUCH a hassle to use a firearm in a hobbying situation, I can't imagine. I don't do sketchy anymore but be careful out there to those that do. Thanks again for the headsup!

you should never ever bring a gun hobbying. Always leave it home. If you get murdered or robbed you should just lay down and curl up in a ball and take it. Those people worked hard to separate you from your money and belongings! Show them some respect by being taken advantage of and robbed/harmed! Silly question!
