even $37k a year is well above the so-called poverty line. and it's why your Quarter pounder at Mikey D's now costs 4.50 where it was 2 dollars before. brilliant!

minimum wage jobs are not supposed to be careers dude. they are starter jobs.

Yawn….

Says a family of four, I’m saying two kids at age 15 make more than that…. Reading is fundamental…. Just like the article you posted…. Our quarter pounder is $6.29

The old 1040 standard deduction, you were able to offset gambling winnings with losses, without itemizing… now you are required to itemize if you want to offset your 1099-MISC winnings…. The standard deduction is more, so trying to itemize is a waste….

Earning apx $10,000 a year in 1099-MISC from the downs and feather casinos, with loses over $10,000, I’m taxed an extra $3000, plus my $1000+ in union dues is another $300 in tax….

My taxes jumped up 33%

The standard deduction exceeds the amount of your itemized deductions, understood.

So the SUPERTRUMP standard deduction exceeds your ability to claim deductions under the prior system, yes?

You just explained trump removing the SALT deduction and it only affects the wealthy, SALT deduction is a deduction for itemized returns, so I don’t qualify anyways and it had no affect on me. I literally explained how my taxes jumped 33%. I’m not complaining, I’m pointing out his presidency was not successful and using examples, he didn’t accomplish anything except to get feeble minds to believe his lies

The old system allowed you to deduct gambling losses, increasing the standard deduction didn’t help me at all, I literally explained this so a 6 year old child could understand it.

I mean if a multimillionaire god like Tucker Carlson says it was a tax cut for middle class, I mean it must be true…

Apparently gop supporters believe a family of four on $71000 of income is middle class, and for them it probably is

My classification of middle class is a family earning over $150’000… with $300,000 being the top 5%, you reach upper middle class and $500,000 is wealthy

Not sure what bfs personal situation is that he's utilizing the standard deduction that SUPERTRUMP gifted lower and medium income people, non-homeowners, and people who I guess work for paychecks with, but he should probably just enjoy what SUPERTRUMP gave him instead of behaving like an oppositional ingrate.

I don't know what the standard deduction is but I know it skyrocketed under SUPERTRUMP.

FALN Commutation of 1999

On August 11, 1999, Clinton commuted the sentences of 16 members of FALN, a Puerto Rican paramilitary organization that set off 120 bombs in the United States, mostly in New York City and Chicago. There were convictions for conspiracy to commit robbery, bomb-making, and sedition, as well as firearms and explosives violations.[6] The 16 were convicted of conspiracy and sedition and sentenced with terms ranging from 35 to 105 years in prison. Clinton offered clemency on the condition that the prisoners renounce violence, seeing as none of the 16 had been convicted of harming anyone and they had already served 19 years in prison. This action was lobbied for by ten Nobel Laureates and the Archbishop of Puerto Rico.[7] The commutation was opposed by the U.S. Attorney's Office, the FBI, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons and was criticized by many,[citation needed] including former victims of FALN terrorist activities and the Fraternal Order of Police.[8] Hillary Clinton, then campaigning for her first term in the Senate, initially supported the commutation,[9] but withdrew her support three days later.[10]

Marc Rich, a fugitive who had fled the U.S. during his prosecution, was residing in Switzerland. Rich owed $48 million in taxes and was charged with 51 counts for tax fraud, was pardoned of tax evasion. He was required to pay a $1 million fine and waive any use of the pardon as a defense against any future civil charges that were filed against him in the same case. Critics complained that Denise Eisenberg Rich, his former wife, had made substantial donations to both the Clinton library and to Mrs. Clinton's senate campaign. According to Paul Volcker's independent investigation of Iraqi Oil-for-Food kickback schemes, Marc Rich was a middleman for several suspect Iraqi oil deals involving over 4 million barrels (640,000 m3) of oil.[

January 17, 2017

On this day, Obama pardoned 64 individuals and commuted the sentence of 209 individuals (109 of whom faced life sentences).[2] These included Chelsea Manning and Oscar López Rivera, enabling them to be released from prison on May 17, 2017.[19][20]

Rivera is another member of FALN. just so you know.

Chelsea Manning to Be Released Early as Obama Commutes Sentence

I don't give a fuck as to who Obama and Clinton pardoned. Where you AGAIN fail to understand anything is the fact that your supreme leader did pardon a guy who rubbed his own supporters. If you follow carefully Trump and his friends, you'd realize quickly that they are all out to steal money from their supporters. Trump did nothing for you (zip nada) but he sure took your money for his own benefit. He raised million for his so call stop the steal thing and when you read the fine print it clearly says that he can use that money for whatever purpose hje want. Now, this being said, please show me how much Trump has spent for the stop the steal thing? and then show me how much money he's raised off of that stupid stop the steal? The facts are in your face. In the face of all Republican to see and yet you just brush this off to nothing only because you can't stand and understand real democracy. There are good Republican choices out there for the 2024 candidature so just thing with your head and dump the grifters then pick a guy that won't destroy your country! When it's all set and done, history will tell you that the Trump years were the most egregious criminal organization setup only to steal money from the American people. Republican are unable and unwilling to understand that. You've open the door to a totalitarian grifter to enter the presidency and at some point in the future you're going to regret that dearly but you just don't know it yet.

Boys, this is a pissing contest. I suggest you look beyond and behind Obama, Trump, Clinton, et al. Who is really pulling the strings? I don't mean George Soros, but, who is profiting? Who is gaining geopolitical power? What are the biggest global trends? CNN, FOX, MSNBC are no different from "The Brady Bunch". Enter/info-tainment for a post-literate world.
