Interestingingly the lowest 5 are:

Republicans who support Trump more than party: 46 percent
Trump voters in 2020 general election: 50 percent
Rural residents: 52 percent
Republicans: 55 percent
White evangelicals: 59 percent

and I also found this interesting
Whites: 66 percent
Blacks: 76 percent
Latinos: 71 percent

So blacks have a full 10% more vaccinated than whites, who also trail latinos.

depends on your source, I suppose

Black and Hispanic people remain less likely than their White counterparts to have received a vaccine

Take me for example, I am hardly an "anti-vaxxer" and while I believe the vaccine/s do a LOT more good than harm, I don't personally plan on getting vaccinated myself.

What you describe is more like an atheist praying to God when he thinks he is about to die. Fear does elicit some very bizarre behavior in some people. Giving up all one's freedoms because you are terrified of a disease that almost everyone survives even if they do get it is a great example.

Or taking a vaccine that literally hundreds of millions have taken and "almost" no one has died as a direct result of the vaccine.

Fear does elicit strange behavior, like fearing the vaccine but not ones hyper tension, diabetes, obesity which all lead to making COVID an even bigger problem for some.

I support you right to not vacinate.

Well yesterday morning he got upset with me, and his last posts before disappearing from our world were in his "SURPRISE! The government lied about the CDC approval of the jab too!" thread. I did not report him to the moderators. In fact, I've never RTM'ed anyone.

In his last post, he confessed that he's gay, has HIV, and his skin color is somehow odd:

https://www.eccie.net/showthread.php...post1062583806

My suspicion is that one of the moderators who's not as enlightened as you and me banned him because he or she doesn't like HIV-positive homosexuals with splotchy skin.

I'd say I'll miss him but I was blowing too much time replying to his COVID posts. He seemed to fall for anything he read on social media that supported his prejudices. And I suspect some of what he was reading originated with people paid by the Russian or Chinese governments to bash our vaccines and divide us.

Default Maybe he was an incompetent sapper and mistakenly placed a demolition charge next to his ECCIE account?

.

Or maybe it was deemed inappropriate to continually and gratuitously insult others while conducting a spirited campaign to nail down the exalted title of Dunning-Kruger Effect Poster Boy of the Month.
