It's always refreshing for someone with some common sense and knowledge to post the truth in these forums.

After the past 5-6 years one would think that suggesting the government lacks the resources to inject itself in anyone's and everyones' personal, sexual lives .... must believe that all of those accusations were false from the beginning.

I'm going to close with the following reality checks:
Can internet posts be used as evidence in court? Of course they can. But, it has to be proven that defendant actually made the post.
Can that be proven becomes the issue.
There's a lot of tech discussion above. I suggest that comments from those that do not deal with exactly that stuff in the real world, on a regular basis, be disregarded.

There's an expression. "You can't legislate stupidity." The problem is that the idiot spouting all of his 'knowledge' is clueless that he doesn't know what he is talking about and all the name-calling and counters arguments are so far above his head he is incapable of seeing the forest for the trees. Oh, and since he's a clear Trumper, it's obvious that he's drunk way too much of the koolaid.
I don't know if reading these threads is one of my favorite things about ECCIE or one of the things I hate the most. It clogs the forums with such meaningless and fake bullshit that it is, at the same time, fascinating and repugnant.
Oh, I think one of the real questions related to this new law is this. Are the DAs of Texas going to single out a simple, ordinary citizen hiring an escort for prosecution as opposed to going after big game? I've always wondered. If I had done what, oh say, Gary Hart did, would I have been escoriated? I doubt it. Not worth it. Nobody would really care and there would be no political points awarded. On the other hand, while Cuomo resigned rather than fight a few allegations of sexual assault, Trump was charged by no less than 23 women and bragged about it, but has not been charged. All that to say, I am clueless where the legal system goes and doesn't go, and why.

Oh, and the fact that I'm not calling folks out by name means everybody is going to think I'm talking about the other guy because "Couldn't be talking about me".
