Default Dumbo with a dumb question
It is not worth it to me to pay for a hobby phone and I was wondering if there was a way to send and receive text messages privately on my iphone. I have been looking into VPN, and the message apps, such as Whatsapp, imessage, etc. and don't totally understand them. What recs does anyone have and please help clarify what I am looking for.

Google Voice for iPhone gives you a new number without a new phone, full texting and etc. Free.

I pay $4.99 a month for a burner line app that's simply called burner. I can make and receive calls/texts and pics. I don't need to worry about an entire other phone, it's just an app on my regular phone. Cheap and easy...I love it
