I'm sure you didn't mean to mislead the court ( of public opinion ) councilor, but I can't find any reference to him appearing before the Disciplinary Committee but I did find this.

Might you have made a mistake councilor or is it more likely you gave false testimony, in other words lied to the court ( this court ) to promote your narrative? Huh, sounds like what they are accusing Giuliani of doing.
My sincere apology councilor if you can provide proof that Giuliani was allowed to provide any evidence he may have. I look forward to seeing it.
Since I have YR on ignore, I don't know what reference he gave if any, so I had to go looking and found this which I thought interesting to say the least.

"You're a lawyer, your job is to zealously represent your client. A lot of times your client maybe has done wrong, but what you cannot do as a lawyer is just lie,"

Now I freely admit I'm not a lawyer and my only reference to whether lawyer's lie in defense of their client comes from decades of watching Perry Mason, Matlock and Law and Order but WTF? Lawyers seem to present all kinds of "alternate theories" in defense of their clients, which may not have been proven, yet.
WTF are appeals for if not to right a wrong decision when the decision makers find out that there is in fact evidence as I'm quite sure happens some times.
How in the world can this committee declare that he knowingly lied and intentionally misled? Where is the proof of that and was it presented or will that also come in a "formal disciplinary hearing? which my reading suggests hasn't happened yet.
And WTF was that which happened for 4 years with lawyers like Adam Schiff ( assuming he is one ) and all the other lawyers in the Democrat Party and all the lawyers at CNN and MSNBC and the NYT's and WAPO, that lied ( knowingly in my opinion ) about Trump conspiring with Russia to interfere in the election?
Comey flat out lied, Brennan and Clapper lied before Congressional Committee's. Hillary Clinton lied, we know this because James Comey was asked if she was telling the truth before a Senate hearing, "was Mrs. Clinton being truthful when she said........." asked Trey Gowdy and Comey's answer was, "that was not true". Was her law license suspended or any punishment at all for lying?
From what I can tell, every lawyer that has ever practiced law has lied at one time or another by saying "my client didn't do this" when in fact, they either had no idea of whether their client had done "it" or or simply didn't know, because they never asked.
Sounds like nothing more than political revenge to me.

Too bad Giuliani can't use the same defense as Tucker Carlson's lawyers did in his slander lawsuit -- what he says sometimes is so incredibly stupid that no one takes him seriously. (To be fair Hedonist classes this as sarcasm, not stupidity, and that's probably a fair interpretation.) I guess stupidity though is reason enough to suspend someone's law license.
Here are some of the jewels the New York judges cited in their ruling -- apologies in advance Yssup for repeating some of what you posted, but it fits in well with the pattern -- Giuliani has huge problems with numbers. And his memory's shot to hell:
In his Four Seasons press conference in Philadelphia, the same press conference, he said 8,021 dead people voted in Philadelphia, and he also said 30,000 dead people voted in Philadelphia. He said Joe Frazier the boxer was one of them. And the fact that Pennsylvania removed 21,000 dead voters from its rolls in 2021 STATEWIDE (not just Philadelphia) is proof positive that 30,000 dead people voted in Philadelphia. Or is it 8,021 dead people. Apparently Rudy was confused.
Joe Frazier isn't even on Pennsylvania's voter rolls. And Giuliani was charged for lying about that. But he just couldn't stop himself. After being charged, he repeated that Joe Frazier the Corpse voted in the election on 3 separate occasions on his radio show.
He said 65,000 or 66,000 or 165,000 underage voters voted in Georgia in 2020. The exact number depended on what kind of a mood Rudy was in.
In Arizona instead of underage or dead voters it's illegal immigrants. 10,000 or 32,000 or 250,000 undocumented illegals voted.
He wasn't able to back up any of these claims.
The suspension was a good idea. This guy needs to be put out to pasture. He shouldn't be representing anyone. Trump was foolish to use him as counsel. He should have learned that already from the results of Rudy meddling in the Ukraine, which brought on his first impeachment. But Rudy wasn't charging Donald for his legal services, and that arrangement has always been very enticing to Trump. He should have learned by now that you get what you pay for.

The suspension, ordered a day before his 52nd anniversary as a licensed lawyer in New York, was sought by the Attorney Grievance Committee for the First Judicial Department.
From your own article. The Attorney Grievance Committee is the disciplinary counsels office in most states. I don’t practice in NY but I presume they work exactly like in LA, DC and MD, all places I retain a license.
The process is usually
You receive notice of a complaint
The disciplinary counsel informs you of the investigation and requires within a specific amount of time your response
You are allowed to provide proof that your not guilty of the allegation
If you can’t do so or dispute they have grounds to proceed it goes to an administrative proceeding (in LA and MD it’s before the highest state court.
I think it’s pretty clear old Rudy couldn’t show that he wasn’t just lying.

for someone who has claimed to be a lawyer you don't seem to know much about this process.
"The court, in its 33-page suspension order, noted that “ interim suspension is a serious remedy, available only in situations where it is immediately necessary to protect the public from” an attorney’s violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct."
His lawyers John Leventhal and Barry Kamins said in a statement, “We are disappointed with the Appellate Division, First Department’s decision suspending Mayor Giuliani prior to being afforded a hearing on the issues that are alleged.”
so they got some libtard judge to "jump the gun" and issue a ruling against Rudy that was NOT HANDED DOWN BY THE NY STATE BAR to silence him.
YR and you would have us believe Rudy got disbarred. He wasn't. he hasn't even had a hearing yet.
just another example of libtard judges ruling from the bench

Too bad the judges didn’t suspend or disbar Giuliani a few years ago. Trump never would have been impeached the first time — the whole Ukrainian fiasco never would have happened. And if he’d had a competent attorney like Don McGahn and listened to him after the 2020 election he wouldn’t have been impeached a second time. Giuliani’s incompetent. The judges made a good decision, shut him down before he harms other clients.

the judge suspended him without any formal hearing and any defense from Guiliani on the supposed claims? I understand the judge refused to hear any defense from Guiliani.
a hearing is yet to take place, yet Giuliani was suspended temporarily.
this doesn't sound very fair.

If you've got a surgeon or an engineer or a lawyer who's allegedly incompetent perhaps it's a good idea to suspend him temporarily while his peers are sorting out the truth. Otherwise you may end up with dead people, in the case of the surgeons and engineers, or people in jail who shouldn't be in the case of the lawyers.

What's not fair is how easily idiots like this are able to spew their lies to fools who desperately want to believe them with no accountability or consequences.
I agree with Tiny above. You fellas ought to be dancing in the street because of what Rudy did to Trump. Of course, Trump was too fucking stupid to even consider that might happen when he sent Rudy out into the wild.
