I say give the Palestinians the "proportional" response many in the world are calling for. So tomorrow, Isreal should launch 3,000 rockets indiscriminately into Gaza and that would be a proportional response. How is anybody going argue with that.


And yes, the Biden administration is fueling this by giving money to Hamas that will purchase rockets from Iran with that money and negotiating with Iran to give them more money to promise something we know they will not give.



This is madness. Ask what the US would do if Mexico launched 3,000 rockets into Texas and there is your answer.

you aren't getting my point. never said they were. in 1946 the second biggest point the Palestinians rejected an offer for a homeland is that they wanted more land and the other regional Arab nations i mentioned wouldn't give any of their own land to the Palestinians. the real reason was they opposed the creation of Israel. even after that happened there was land available for them and they rejected it.

that is just totally false. from the day Israel was created the various arab states attacked Israel with intent to destroy it. should they not have fought back? advance the time line into the 90's when Israel for it's own protection did occupy areas like Gaza you might have a point but remember why they did that in the first place. the Gaza plateau is a high point and who controls the high point controls the region. Palestinians were using it to launch missile attack into Israeli territory.

i generally agree with that. it isn't our problem and i'd cut off all foreign aid to Israel. they have in fact received the largest share of the zillions we've doled out over the decades, over 100 billion by now last i checked.


Israel is not some third world backwater shithole. it's a modern prosperous nation. why are we giving them money still? you might have justified it up to a point in time while they were still a fledgling nation but that hasn't been the case in decades. they can buy all the fighters from the US they want but why are we still giving them a billion dollars a year in aid? we gave them 3 billion in 2019.

The first disregarded fact is that there is no real thing as a Palestinian. The entire region is known, or was known, as Palestine. So a Palestinian could be Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or Zora Thracian. When the UN divided Palestine to give a home to the Jews, who had a claim on the land going back 3,000 years, the Jewish leaders offered homes to the displaced people. The Grand Mufti of Jordan, a Nazi and anti-Semitic, ordered the Muslim/Arab people to leave the borders of Israel. He promised that they would return and dance on the bodies of the Jews. He, not the Jewish leaders, are responsible for those who are called Palestinians not having homes. Strange that no a single Arab country would take in the displaced people, their people. They kept them in small camps around the region to grow a new generation of bitter, hateful terrorists. In subsequent wars started by the Arab states, Israel expanded it's territory. Israel returned Gaza to the Arabs, which included the so-called Palestinians. All they had to do with build a country...but they didn't. Israel built a lot of their infrastructure but Hamas destroyed it. Go to the Mid East and see who is growing and prospering and who is sitting in their own shit.
