8 killed in metro Atlanta spa shooting spree; suspect captured in South Georgia

A 21-year-old man from Woodstock, who was captured in South Georgia on Tuesday night, is the suspect in three metro Atlanta massage parlor shootings that left eight people dead, authorities said.

Robert Aaron Long was first identified as the suspect in the shooting at Young’s Asian Massage Parlor in Cherokee County that left four people dead and one person injured, according to the sheriff’s office. He is also a suspect in two more shootings at similar businesses in northeast Atlanta that resulted in four more deaths, according to a sheriff’s office spokesman.

Six of the eight victims were Asian women, authorities said.

This was friggin terrible and sad to see it happen, it had to be a hate crime. On a side note, I was headed out for the first time in a year yesterday and going to KK Spa and to my surprise 2 SAPD cars in the parking lot out front, not sure if the spa was the target or not. Any thoughts?

It appears that this guy was a wacko who said he is a sex addict and needed to get rid of the temptation. Evidently he also shot 2 customers with one of them surviving. This could have happened anywhere and to anyone of us. This is from the news conference.

This is very sad/upsetting/frustrating in so many different ways. This 21 year old cruising broke ass antifa clown took out his frustration on those that could afford to enjoy this hobby.
