If the Location in the ad says "Downtown", or just "Ny", or "North end", or some vague BS like that; or is some email address, or phone #, it is all a very good indication it is fake/scam. And as eastwood points out, those ads are also likely to show up in other areas, further indicating they are not real. Try to look for ads that at least indicate that they are indeed in your local area.
