Nothing to do with political party. I'm from Chicago. Never met a NYer I liked, and every time I go there for work I can't wait to go back home.

Hilarious! I don't necessarily agree, but if those are GastonGlock originals, you're wasting your talents writing for a hooker board.

I must correct that the real Chicago style pizza is the Tavern Style thin crust pizza:

You fight your siblings to the death over the corner pieces, and you know "True Love" only happens between a person who likes the outside pieces, and a person who likes the inside crustless pieces.

Deep Dish is what we feed the tourists and the posers in Naperville.

12% state tax to replace the money the FED steals from NY to redistribute to those low tax, agriculture RED STATES who are so lowly populated they can't bring in the Federal Dollars to run themselves.... that 12% tax rate ?

300 billion NY residents pay to the FED each year and only 240 Billion gets allocated back to NY.

That's theft by the RIGHT, to make the average farmer in the USA an income of over $100,000 with corporate welfare.

I believe we should leave the taxation and spending mostly up to the states and localities, like Switzerland, instead of having the politicians in Washington try to run everything.

New York politicians like Chuck Schumer don’t want to change the system. It’s the price their constituents must pay so they (the blue state Congressmen and presidents) can enforce their agendas on places like Texas.

Fuck Chicago. Went there to pick up something and got charged $24 to park my car for 10 minutes. Fuck NYC too. I think it was $16 just to drive through the Holland Tunnel and the hotel charged $120/night on top of the room fee to park my car. I can’t believe anyone would actually want to live in these shitholes, all crammed together like sardines. Count me out if it’s less than a 10 minute walk to the mailbox.

Big lie made up by Robert Reich. No person who works for or gets a check from the government pays taxes. Every dime in their pocket was taken from a person in the private sector. Airports,Trains,Ships,Highways and Energy are all paid for with Federal money to supply NYC. Without Federal money to agricultural states you would eating from garbage piles

I grew up 80 miles West of Chicago. I don't really miss Illinois that much.

Yeah, I literally didn't have a car the 13 years I lived downtown. Just wasn't practical. The upside was that everything was within walking distance, things were always open, and there was always a good place to eat or drink. The downside was bums, an increased chance that a cop you'd encounter would be a jackbooted asshole for no reason, and yeah, sharing walls/floors/ceilings with neighbors.

I got my high-rise playboy proclivities out of my system. Doing the posh suburb thing now, might do some acreage in Wyoming or Montana when I finally want to get off the grid.

Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on this thread.

Dude, you live in Buffalo. Now THAT is a shithole. Western NY is dirt poor rust belt. If you somehow got lucky and scored a union job that pays well, you are a rarity in Western NY. You are ignoring your neighbors.

And Agriculture? Are you a complete idiot? Do you know nothing about TX? We may have agriculture, but we have far more oil and gas and high tech. What does NY have? Finance in the NYC area and meth labs in the rest of the state.

California has far more agriculture than Texas or any other state.

You should have gotten a union job at GM in Fort Worth. you would make more money than in NY, pay less in taxes, and your house would be both bigger and cheaper.

Putz...

He's got a point. Trump pumped lots of taxpayer money into agriculture to make up for the havoc that his poorly-thought-out trade wars had on our farmers and and ag companies.

All cities are Democrat all rule areas of farmland or Republican they've been that way for 2,000 years just that you know one was conservative and one was liberal the cities are almost always liberal they like to help people that's why when your handicap you go to the city. What the guy inspired us who got shot in the head when everyone else died he had to go to the city
