Why are the majority of AMPS operated and staffed by asians?

I know there are some that are primarily latin oriented with its provider staff (although I do not know if they are primarily latin-owned). I also understand that culturally, reflexology (which for legal purposes, is separate from massage) and massage are asian in nature although many cultures have some version or another of it.

I’m just wondering why you do not see (at least in Houston) an Indian or middle-eastern-oriented massage parlor. I do not believe that culturally they are especially prudish.

Anyways, Its a slow weekend so I had some time to think and thought it might make an interesting discussion here.

Perhaps the same reason most yard work, farm work, roofers are hispanic. They fill the niche accepting low wages.

Massage in East and Southeast Asia is a huge business.

Massage like nail salons are almost entirely first gen immigrants. It is easy to get the job for someone who speaks little English and doesn’t have the skills or education to get different work. I don’t think I have ever spoken to massage lady who was born in US and spent her whole life here.

When I started in this "activity" In the late 1970s .The Modeling studios, And Massage parlors were staffed by mostly White ladies, Also Latin and African American ladies. No Asians to be seen. Times change.

Perhaps a better or different way to ask would have been “why are massage parlors mostly Asian owned and operated”
The Asian girls here in the states are mostly considered “Leftover Girls”, they come here mostly due to being past the age of getting married, either it happens when they’re young and most attractive or it just won’t happen for them while in their own country, I’m being serious, there is an actual article(s) about it. This kinda answers the question of why AMPs don’t have Asian women in their 20’s working, although many hobbyists think some girls are in their 20’s or even 30’s, which is hardly ever the case, while many do look that young, my ATF told me she was 25 when we first met, turned out she was really 37, she looked 20 years old, didn’t much matter to me.
