I haven't really kept up with the post office drama.. but I can say with certainty that SOMETHING has shifted in the past couple weeks. I will go days without receiving any mail. Friend of mine sent out wedding invitations last week-- she has had family members in Arizona receive theirs-- but I haven't received mine yet.. and we live in the same city. I've also been waiting on particular pieces of mail for over a week that typically arrive 2-3 days after sent. They can claim that they aren't doing anything different-- but the evidence suggests otherwise.
I'm with you on the service here in Dallas but I have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. Three years ago, when I moved here, I was sent invitations to an event by a family member who also lives here and it took three weeks to receive. I also receive monthly correspondence from CPA and from post mark to delivery it averages 6 days from one state away. Also, my credit card statements generally take four to five days to arrive. Delivery just sucks, but understand, it is a federally run system. They need to stop subsidizing Amazon packages and move to private market for delivery. Maybe it will cost a little more but the mailboxes won't be filled with crap. I joke that I'm going to pick up the recycling instead of the mail.
On another note, maybe we should just take the ever present brainchild AOC' s suggestion and get on with a national pen pal program so everyone will buy more stamps!! Amazing how simple all problems can be fixed. And this is one of our leaders, God help us.

Well in their defense, there's no new thinking because the goal is the same as it has always been with the left. Total control of every aspect of your life. From when you can be aborted, to your gender, who you fuck, when you can fuck, your fashion, what you eat, what you drive, what you live in, where you live, how much energy you consume, what education you receive, how you can defend yourself, what you can do when sick, what hospital you can go to, what kind of toilet you shit on, the size of your sodas, the music you listen to, what you can say, what you can listen to, what you can write, where you can write it, what job you can hold, how much money you make. They even want to control when you die, and where you can be buried.

The post office has been in the red forever. $73 billion in the past consecutive 13 years. They are not funded by Congress and they have turned down billion of $ in aide and bailout in the past many years.
A new postmaster was put in place months ago to make changes to the post office to make it more efficient and profitable. The changes include less overtime, less mail drop blue boxes, shorter post office hours.
All those changes have nothing to do with the upcoming Presidential election and mail in voting ballots replacing voting in person because of the pandemic.
The Democrats or DIMS as I like to call them will never let a CRISIS GO TO WASTE.
There is no conspiracy by President Trump to eliminate and reduce the post office budget and operations so mail in vote ballots are not delivered or can't be delivered.
The whole thing is a lie by the DIMS and by the News Media who are so quick to report things without checking the facts first as long as it makes President Trump and the GOP look bad .
