If LE tries to use this Ring footage against you, you tell them you want to speak to your attorney. Be aware that Ring has partnerships with many LE agencies across the US. People who use Ring will usually use an app called Neighbors. These agencies that are partnered with Ring have a sister app to Neighbors that allows LE to request footage from Ring users when it's relevant to an investigation. Last I checked, there’s no security requirements for the use of this footage either...
