Only 3 police officers were interviewed. Did you expect criticism of the police from them? Only 3 came forward. One black officer said he hadn't seen racism at the PD. If there was, did you expect him to name names? The WaPo has numerous articles about racial and other types of bias. As far as the protests go most of the people were peaceful. Some weren't. Any law breakers should be punished.
