Well, I notice you switched from 6 dead in 4 days to 6 dead "yesterday" (July 9). At least you are finally getting facts straight.

But here's an update - Harris County had 16 deaths yesterday (July 10). Up from 6.

Dallas had 9 deaths yesterday. Same as the day before.

Texas had 106 deaths yesterday. Up from 85.
Well, in only a week, Texas has risen from 106 to 162 deaths per day. Read here:

https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/usa/texas/

Dallas is up to 13 dead, Harris is up to 18 dead.

We will go over 4,000 total deaths tomorrow. Seems like 3 weeks ago, we were at 1500.

For those counting at home, 162 dead per day is over 59,000 dead per year - JUST IN TEXAS.

But hey, don't wear those masks. And open the bars, movie theaters, and sports, and put the restaurants back to 100% capacity.

Bullshit. Post a link. Let us see what type of conspiracy websites you follow.

TX (29 million) has just under 1/11th of the US population (330M). If 11K died in TX in one flu season, then about 125K would have died nationwide.

That would have been extraordinary news that would have resulted in wall to wall coverage. But it didn't happen. A bad flu season kills about 50-60K.

Now do Idaho. Idiot.

You picked out a low case load state as representative of what, exactly?

I gave you the status of Texas as a whole and where we are heading and you picked out one small piece of Texas for what reason?

The load case load in Collin county STILL did NOT stop TX from going from under 1500 to over 4000 in less than a month. Imagine how bad TX will be when Collin County starts getting a lot more cases.

Hey, the case load in my house Dallas is ZERO. How does that help the Texas numbers?

Who cares if you live there?

How do Collin County's numbers refute what I wrote about all of Texas?

Collin County number are about as relevant as Idaho's, in case you missed the point.

Last winter, influenza and its complications killed more than 80,000 in the United States and hospitalized more than 900,000 — the highest totals for death and illness during a seasonal outbreak since CDC numbers on flu deaths were first reported in 1976. Previously, flu-related deaths had ranged from 12,000 in the 2011-12 season to the previous high of 56,000 in 2012-2013. The CDC figures are estimates based on statistical models.
