Perhaps Chris Mathews is seeing the absolute absurdity of how the Democrats will not tolerate any statements or ideas that go contrary to their new doctrine of squashing all speech that is not in line with the Liberal/Socialist/Progressive agenda.
He has helped create this monster. It all goes back to the “rock the vote” movement and other “get out the vote” movements aimed at getting young impressionable kids to the polls, and of course to vote Democrat.
These young people are now a power. Their battle cry seems to be, “gimme, gimme, gimme......free, free, free”.
Mathews did not compare Sanders to a NAZI. He simply used a story from WW2 as a comparison how the Allies looked at Frances sudden capitulation. “It’s over”, was the word, after just one victory. Well, it wasn’t there were a lot of battles to fight.
Mathews is right. The Country would be much better off with President Trump than Sanders. He stoped short, though. He should have said the Country is better off with President Trump than ANY of the Democrats running.

Jackie your head has turned to mush....well half mush. You are correct but fail to mention the exact same thing that Trump is doing.

Plus, his premise is correct. Moderate Democrats would be better off with Trump keeping their taxes low and not creating a new wealth tax.
However, Bernie is running ads here in Texas that make him look more like a moderate in favor of helping the middle class - and his victory seems as unlikely as I thought Trump's victory was - so Republicans cannot get over confident.

If Bernie was to get elected....not one single tax law would change.
But he is not getting elected and he is going to kill the down ballot if he gets nominated.
Bloomberg has the money to beat Trump and can sway the middle independent voters.
Bernie will sway them the other way.
They should show Bernie a picture of RBG and ask Bernie who he wants replacing her? Trump or Bloomberg....not that it really matters, they already have a 5-4 Court.
