Audio in AMP?

I went to a legit AMP recently that I frequently visit and receive extras. The lady that was taking care of me put her finger over her mouth 🤫 basically telling me to shhhhh, or be quiet.
I reached for my phone to use google translate app in order to quietly communicate accurately with her and she confirmed that her "boss" who ever that is, where ever they are, can hear us, but NOT see us. She was not very clear, but she emplied that it was to keep tabs on the workers.

Has anyone ever had any experiences like this? Any thoughts?

Since this is a legit massage business in a suburb, I don't want to reveal the business name, just wondering how common this is and what the risks could be.

After rereading my post, I want to clarify, she did not mean that they could hear us though the door or wall, but that they were listening to us electronically from the ceiling.

Seems whatever measures her boss has in place to keep tabs on girls isn’t preventing them from doing extras, lol.

That’s funny, I was told the same thing about a year ago from provider that I kept in touch with. She was working at Chi on Hwy 6 & Westheimer for a short time. When we got into the room, she whispered to me not to say anything too loud or make “ohhhs and ahhhs” sounds because the owner was recording and listening inside the room. As FingerTaint said, it didn’t stop any activities, but it just kept things quiet during the extras.

I would think the boss knows exactly what is going on inside the rooms. It is just a little troubling to me.
