An aside here but what is the deal with country fans here? I took a date at her request to see a huge country star one time and everyone sat the whole time. She and some girl we didn't know at one point stood up to dance along and everyone behind us bitched and moaned about it, tapping me on the shoulder asking me if I would "get her to sit down". I just ignored them, it's a concert people should have fun. The girls did finally sit after 3 or 4 songs with people yelling at them. When they sat everyone started cheering that they sat and it pissed me off so I immediately picked up my beer and stood up never turning around, the cheering stopped. I stood the rest of the show still as a rock and the girls got back up and started dancing again and the people behind us gave up complaining. I hope they decided to also get up and have some fun. I'd been to the same venue to see Van Halen once and not only did we have to stand we had to balance on the backs of the seats the whole row holding onto each other to see and everyone had a blast rocking out. And even though the whole row would fall down at times I didn't hear anyone complaining about it. Country shows in the 90s were the only ones I'd ever been to where people actually expected to sit in the seats, I hope that has changed by now.

I am a country bumpkin and love country music. Especially this man! When he got to the edge of the stage and sang to that chic in Pure Country, I would have passed out then. He can just stand and sing for all I care. I am just glad I finally get to see him and that someone thinks I am deserving enough to take me. He has been on my bucket list for ages. Was supposed to have seen him in San Antonio and was on my way back from IA and the tornado ripped through OK and part of Springfield so kept me from getting home.
I don't think concerts are anywhere like you said. I went and saw Luke Bryan with my twin in 2016 and we were up singing, dancing, taking pics and just having a hell of a time. No one was complaining and if they do...they can KISS my brown ass!! I am there to have a great time and NO ONE is going to take that away from me. I wish they would!! lol lol Heck my biggest fear is someone getting in front of me or standing up and my short ass not being able to see. But I will find some shoulders to get on. lol
