Default It was 1777. The Revolutionary War was raging, and a small band of officers and seamen in the Continental Navy faced a dangerous dilemma.

Would JD Cornhole step up and do the right thing?

Their commodore was one of the most powerful men in colonial America. But his subordinates had seen him engage in “barbarous” mistreatment — torture, in their eyes — of captured British sailors.
Eleven years before the U.S. Constitution was ratified, the 10 worried sailors became the new republic’s first whistleblowers, reporting what they had witnessed to the Continental Congress — and getting legal protection to shield them from retribution.

differences between 1777 example and Trump Whistleblower DPST accusation:
Current whistleblower
1- does not have first hand knowledge
2- the phone call recipient (victim) denies the allegation
3-a transcript of the phone call is released - and its' content interpreted differently by DPST's House Committees and Trump attorneys
4- the current whistleblower is anonymous - the Schiff committee wants the testimony anonymous, at a separate location with blinded face and voice.
5- Thus Trump cannot confront an accuser - a Right WTF would insist on in a court against himself - and rightfully So.

This Whistleblower accusation has the same appearance as the Ford Acusations against Kavanaugh - except a completely anonymous non-first hand witness.

Trump haters want to believe.
If the DPST's have anything - Vote the Impeachment and let's see it in a Senate Trial - which will mean the Whistleblower will have protection, but NOT ANONYMITY. Which is as it should be.

This appears to be a "Trumped Up " accusation.

The Dims don't believe in Due Process and the right to face your accuser. This whole whistleblower and impeachment "inquiry" is coup attempt put together by Lawfare and the Dims.

I expect blood in the streets eventually.
