Altuis up on Mt. Washington, upscale with an amazing view of the city.
Try the martinis.

My friends rave about Superior Motors in Monroeville but I personally haven't been there yet.
If you go let me know if it lives up to the hype...

Napa Prime (Steak) or Off the Hook (Seafood) Both are close to Cranberry. Most of the hotels will shuttle you to either if you don't have you're own vehicle

I personally like Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in cranberry township
It’s on cranberry springs dr next to Mario Lemieux Hockey Center just of I 79

Monroeville has the normal chain places , sports bar , Mexican , Texas Roadhouse . I don’t think of the area as a “ Dining Destination “
Check out Superior Motors & let me know too !!

Happy Travels

I second Firebirds. You can smell the smoke from the parking lot. Good food and atmosphere. Suprised that a few more have sprung up around the area.

The undisputed king of Pittsburgh restaurants is Le Mont, at the top of Mount Washington, near the top of the funicular railroad. Close by is Vue 412, formerly the Tin Angel. Both have unexcelled views of downtown Pittsburgh and all three rivers, as well as the stadia across the Ohio from downtown.

LeMont has is old and tired. Food has been subpar for a long time compared to other options. Only thing that keeps it going is its banquet business. Vue 412 is good. Altius is top notch with incredible view.

The only reason I would go there was to have a few drinks if Danielle and Johnny were bartenders. It went downhill after Dunlop bought it. The Colony and Tambellinis also dived after he bought them.

He purposely tanks his restaurants for the tax write off against CentiMark

Actually, I think he buys these places to give his wife something to do. IMHO, Arlechinos/A La Familia are the best restaurants in Pittsburgh

There isn't anything approaching world class food in Cranberry. Firebirds is mediocre chain food with spotty service. Off the hook can be hit or miss on the food, when they hit it's good. Arguably, the best done meal at any price point in Cranberry at present is Mission Mahi (taco food truck with a fix location now on Rowan Rd). If you like Italian, Il Pizzaiolo isn't bad. If you want to really eat well, get in an uber and head into town (and I'd recommend Butcher and the Rye and/or Meat and Potatoes if you enjoy meat).

Jeez...did anyone actually READ her request? CRANBERRY and MONROEVILLE!!
I second "off the Hook". It's not in Cranberry but really close. There is a pretty good Italian place right beside it, but I can't remember the name.
Monroeville kinda sucks for restaurants. May have to do a chain restaurant there.
