You would think with all the $ this site has made over the years - they would have moved their servers off shore - everyone knew this was coming. Or opened up a 'shell' server site that wouldn't link it back to the owners...smh

Unfortunately, putting the server offshore does not address the issue completely. If the person is a Texas resident they are subject to the law regardless of whether they use an offshore server. p411 has both its server and owner in Canada, and it is not subject to US state or federal laws.

I forgot that, but the fact that the owner is not subject to Texas (or any other US States’) laws is the same given that UK laws are similar to Canadian law on this.
