Delete Account Immediately

It apparently takes an Act of Congress now to have your account disabled/deleted on Eccie. I put in my first request on Saturday, September 14th, through an Eccie link specifically set up for these requests, nada. Then I sent a MS moderator my request via email on September 19th for which I received a reply that they needed a reason for me leaving. It's personal and I don't feel like I need to give a reason for wanting to have my own damn account deactivated. I was told that the request would be forwarded to the admins, nothing still. Then on September 21st, I sent yet another request via email to an Eccie administrator, guess what, I'm still here. Since all three of my request attempts have fallen on deaf ears, I guess I'll just have to blast it out in the open for everyone to read. What should have been a simple request has turned into a fucking ordeal.

I want my account deleted/disabled/deactivated whatever term is used here, immediately. My reasons are personal, thank you.

I dont think they will ever delete it completely. I think they just guest you. I hope everything is ok. I also hope they guest your account right away. I think any mod should be able to do it.

BC, thank you, everything is okay, just personal reasons is all, nothing serious. I'm perfectly happy with having "guest" status, just want it where my name can no longer be searched on this site.

Your Request was submitted to Admins for processing on the 19th. It is still awaiting processing. To remind you of the Guidelines that you agreed to when you signed up and that you agree to each and every time you log in and check the "I agree to the terms of service" box:

#25 - At any time, you may ask to cancel/disable your account here for any reason, or "guest" your account for security reasons. Please submit your request to the staff and include the reason for the request so we may better assist you.

The only reason why I keep signing on is for the simple reason to check account status, otherwise there is no notification sent to me. If I'm wrong, please clarify. You sent my request on the 19th, it is now the 25th, almost a week has passed, is this normal? I HAVE given my reason as personal all 4 times now publicly and privately. With the exception of giving a specific reason, which frankly isn't anyone's business,I have followed Eccie protocol. I do not wish to go into any further detail. I'm very frustrated now and want to move on. You would be frustrated also if a simple request concerning your account was being ignored. I want my account canceled/disabled.

Based upon the information provided in this thread, your desired outcome/goal will not be achieved.
With the information that you have provided and the reason being "personal" the Admins will not Guest your account.
It will be disabled, and the user name of "naughtyangel4u" will still be searchable.
IF, you wish to have your account "Guested" you will have be be a bit more forthcoming with your reason and meet the criteria the owners have established.
Another means that might pay some benefit to you in this matter would be to send an e-mail to Web Support and work with them directly.

Biomed, thank you for explaining a bit more in detail, I appreciate it. I will give a reason if that appeases the Eccie Gods, this site really has gone to shit. So, if I understand correctly, if I decide to guest my account, members will no longer be able to search my handle versus disabled will still give members this option? I was really trying to slip away quietly although now I'm forced to do this out in the open, there you go, stupid shit like this is one of the reasons why I'm leaving this site. I've already emailed web support, thank you again.
