This Popeye's sandwich might taste good now, but Chikfila is very dependable year after year.

Let's see if Popeye's can keep a good thing going.

Chikfila is also faster by far in the drive through.

I read an article by a food critic online and below was the verdict. I have not had Popeyes yet but I will give it a shot when the demand calms down a little.

The top contenders were: Arby's buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich, KFC's Crispy Colonel sandwich, Wendy's homestyle crispy chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A's original chicken sandwich, McDonald's buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich, Burger King's crispy chicken sandwich, Popeyes' classic chicken sandwich, and Shake Shack's Chick'n Shack. Price range $4.00-$7.29

WINNER: POPEYES. Popeyes' classic chicken sandwich was clearly better than its competitors in every way. The chicken was incomparably crispy, juicy, and fresh, and all the elements of the sandwich were well balanced. Each bite was bursting with flavor. And its price tag is also the most appealing — at $4, it's the cheapest sandwich in the lineup.

I find it hard to imagine anything less appetizing than a sandwich make with fried white chicken meat and a sorry hamburger bun. Never understood any anyone liked white meat over dark meat. And if you’re having chicken on a sandwich, it should be homemade chicken salad, after you’ve had a fresh home oven roasted chicken (or two) the day before. On properly toasted wheat bread, preferably. But for god’s sake, bit on a ha burger bun. I would t feed a stale burger bun to the ducks in my back yard.

Chick Fil A has great chicken but their real edge is the waffle fries. Hot waffle fries and some salt are almost better then time with a great eccie lady.
