So I was in Detroit several years ago summer of 2013.

The city was very relaxed on hobbying and providing activity. Is it still that way or different??

2013 when I stayed I was at the Westin Book Cadillac I'm thinking about coming back for a visit this fall.

My experience is that the only area being focused on are trafficking, such as AMPs, etc. I’ve never had any issues with independents at hotels, etc. Some suburban communities seem to be more interested but even then only those who are overly blatant have issues, discretion is key no matter where or when
