Not to already mention that most people are not equipped mentally to go in the line of fire with a gun. Not only that, but if you're a minority, there is a good chance people will think you're the shooter even though it's the opposite.
So many variables, you combine that with pure adrenaline and who knows what could happen at that point.
Most people purchase guns for protection at home. They're not preparing for a gun battle.

Good luck taking citizens guns or collecting taxes on their guns. It just isn't going to happen. Like the scientist reported more people are killed by medical treatment accidents, car wrecks, flu, list goes on. Gun deaths are a ways down the list. Why is there so much hysteria about gun deaths. A fact of life in the good ole USA. Probably always will be. Don't we all enjoy a good ole shoot"em up western movie. That is just us.

Keep bear arm as it is but no assault rifles.
I believe AR cost average $500 to $600. So if someone offers you to buy back at $700 to $800 and make illegal to buy AR. Many will be gone.
I collect guns for hobby and love my guns; but I’ll give up guns over pussy any day. Some of these gun right fuckers have orgasm by looking at their guns and can’t control their urge to go shoot.

Yes, we need stricter gun laws, because criminals always follow the laws!

100% agree. There also be off-duty LE, other CCW. How do you or they know who the good guy is, or the bad guy.

The Virginia Tech shooter used a Glock 19 and a Walther P22, both pistols. He killed 33 and wounded 17. Ban "Assault Rifles" they will find other ways to kill you.

That was back then. Now days no way he would’ve killed 33 with handguns. He would probably need to get something else to kill 33 or more, these days (of course unless he is trained)

There is no doubt that is a problem with my solution. But do you really think the government will kill 24,000 people? If not, you still come out ahead.

lots of opinions here.. at its core, the mass shootings are a Societal problem, which is why the problem is so insidious. real change will take many years and a Societal shift.
just a thought.. in Vietnam.. Communist Vietnam...
one can walk down darkened streets in the middle of the night, Man or Woman, alone, and not fear being a victim of crime.. at the most, and extremely rare, a petty robbery; but rape or murder? virtually a zero possibility.
gun control, harsh sentencing, and a general societal politeness all play a part. the US has none of those characteristics, frankly, so don't look for the major crime problems to dampen.

what a World we live in..
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/su...cid=spartandhp
2 mass Wal-Mart shootings in, what, a week? then this today.. LE mobilizes, thinking this is mass-shooting, take 3, and it turns out to be 2 angry Motherfuckers pulling out their Glocks on each other inside a Wal-Mart.
I need to visit that "people of Wal-Mart" website again.. see if they have updated it, to include Gun-toting Crazies, next to the THOTS, Rednecks and Skanks.

Yeah, that's exactly the wrong way to utilize the concealed carry privilege. Some sort of fight probably over cutting in line and pulling pistols resulting in a gun battle.

The fact of the matter is that something needs to be done to reduce gun violence. Doing nothing solves nothing. It's be like if we allowed ourselves to be taken out by the common flu. Yes, there will be deaths, but, vaccines that get created each year using the probable strongest strain reduces deaths.
Same thing with gun restrictions. If we can get on board nationally, shit can get done to at least reduce it. For everyone's sakd, we need to try. That and combat mental health issues as a whole.
