FT names george soros as 2018 man of the year.

“I’m blamed for everything, including being the anti-Christ,” Mr. Soros told the Financial Times during an interview last week in Marrakesh, Morocco. “I wish I didn’t have so many enemies, but I take it as an indication that I must be doing something right.”

“I have been painted as the devil,” he said. “The fact that extremists are motivated by false conspiracy theories about me to kill hurts me tremendously.”

Fuck Albert Einstein (the cat) and fuck Paul Krugman. He's not an economist anymore, he's a partisan shill. I don't know shit about economics, especially compared to him, but suspect he is indeed somebody to be taken seriously in trade, his area of expertise. He's a Keynesian who believes in large deficits even when the economy is doing well, as long as Democrats are in power. I think supply side economists who advocate smaller government are right and he's wrong.
