Waco or Killeen?

Hi ladies and gents.
I’m Kenya, one of Houston’s finest.
I use to visit BCS years back, met some awesome guys. I was to get out of my comfort zone a little bit and travel some place else. I’m currently thinking about giving Waco and Killeen a shot.
Any suggestions on hotels and areas to stay in or to avoid would be greatly appreciated.
