You asked for my opinion and you got it. Trump has been asking for funding for the border wall since day 1 of his presidency. Unfortunately, it takes 60 votes to move any thing thru the Senate. And now he has a Democrat House. You sound like you can not decide whether there is even a problem at the border. You say maybe, maybe not. Let's cut the BS here. What you really want is open borders. Be honest and admit it!

That is where the money should be spent on better surveillance equipment and man power.
Also for processing people asking for asylem.

Come down here and talk to the Border Patrol agents. They will tell you that a border wall in high traffic areas along the border here in the RGV will free them up to address other areas of concern like the border entry points. And the hell with spending more money on processing people asking for asylum until we have properly secured the border. And note how asylum is spelled. Was that just another typo? LOL. Certain Trump haters should probably stick to playing with their "colering" books.

I appreciate but disagree with your opinion. I asked for your opinion, not an echo of that nonsense Trump is talking about. Thats a ridiculous statement that I want open borders. Trump said Mexico was paying for it period. I wouldn't give the mother fucker a nickel for it. All those in here who said the House didn't matter now are crying because Nancy said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! !! LMAO. Careful MS-13 might get you LMAO!!!!!!!!!

A source is usually better than no source. You stated your opinion. I'm asking for ANY source to back up your opinion. I watch local newscasts every day. And national newscasts. I have not heard any local workers state that they support a wall. Or "people who suffer daily from this crap".
How about the Mayor of McAllen, Texas, the city that Trump visited last week. Is he a credible source?
"A wall is really not the effective way to protect our border," Mayor Jim Darling said.

Trump very rarely listens to "expert analysis from his people". What most Trumpsters like about him is that he marches to his own drummer.
Two examples:
Removing U.S. troops from Syria.
Imposing tariffs.

The House has passed several bills to end the shutdown. Mitch McConnell won't even allow the Senate to vote on the bills, his reasoning being that the POTUS will veto it anyway. In reality the reason probably is that the members of the House and the Senate want to end the shutdown ASAP and if the Senate votes for the bill and Trump vetoes it, then we ALL know for certain where the problem is.

You're off topic. The subject at hand is about a border wall, and Trump is voicing the concern of the men and women, e.g., Tom Homan, Mark Morgan, Matt C. Pinsker, Brandon Judd, Art Del Cueto, Hector Garza, etc., enforcing this nation's immigration laws on the U.S. border.

A quote from you: "Trump's people listen to expert analysis from people who work on the border; thus, they know a wall will work."
You clearly stated that Trump listens to expert analysis. I countered by stating he rarely listens to expert analysis with examples. Point-counter point.
The ONLY reason Trump is pushing this issue so hard is that he PROMISED it to his hardcore supporters. He failed on his promise to repeal/replace Obamacare. He failed to pass a tax reform package that was fair to ALL Americans. He is losing confidence among the voters and if he loses on the wall issue his approval rating will continue to fall.
BTW, my bet is Trump was pushing his "wall" long before he met the individuals you cited. Just a guess. Trump had his mind made up and his campaign rhetoric to his base in place for many years.

It's pretty pathetic when you have to continually resort to homophobic slurs and references to insult other posters on this board. It shows that you have lost the argument.

Tom Homan, Mark Morgan, Matt C. Pinsker, Brandon Judd, Art Del Cueto, Hector Garza, etc., are informed, professional experts who Trump listens to, and you wholly failed to repudiate their arguments with the nonsense you just posted. Nancy's talking points are as useless as her used Tampons, btw.
