my problem is this.. average people don't understand that distinction, and they see a sign like that in the window, and thoughts get in their heads.. thinking maybe a worker inside is sexually trafficked.. or sexual trafficking IS a big problem in Salons.. then they surmise that Asians are heavily trafficked (many salon workers are Asian). it's a "are you STILL beating your wife?" kind of mentality, mandating the posting of those signs.
besides, Salons are required to display the licenses of their workers.. licenses which can not be achieved by undocumented workers.. so why the overkill?
