How old are you? You ever have your testosterone levels checked? I know guys who had lost the ability to get erections due to low testosterone levels. Good thing is they got them back once they started trt or testosterone replacement therapy.
Most men start suffering from the effects of low test by their mid 30s. I never had an issue with erections but I did lose tons of energy and had an overall feeling of bad health. I just generally had low energy and felt weak and run down.
That all changed almost instantly once my dr started me on trt. I cant express how great my life has become especially my sex life since starting trt. I always liked sex and had tons of it since my teens but once in my 30s things slowed down. I just didn't have the drive that I once had.
Enter trt around age 40 and I am now about the same as I was in my 20s again with the exception of how long it takes to reach orgasm and having a refractory period now.
Its strange I can get hard almost right away but if I dont take a break I feel nothing and wont cum again for close to an hour. However if I take 20 or so minutes I can usually nut again in 15 or 20 the second third fifth seventh or even more times if I really want to.
More importantly I feel way better I have more energy less head fog can focus better and just generally feel like a new man. I dont for the life of me understand why any man wouldn't want to feel his best again. I think it should be mandatory for men over 30 to have their levels checked. You just feel so much better with your levels in the right area than everyone should do it.
The only negative I can think is if you dont have a wife or gf or your wife or gf isn't attractive or no longer fucks you. I have buddies I convinced to get checked and of course their levels were low and once they started trt they had to have sex again. Lots and lots of sex. So they find themselves even more miserable than they were before. They now feel great have raging hard ons all the time and want to fuck ten times a day. The only problem is their single and old and cant pull ass anymore or their partner is ugly as fuck or just uninterested in sex.
I have one friend whos wife is your typical fat 55 year old. They hadnt had sex more than once a month for years. I didnt even tell him about trt he asked me how I kept up with all the young girls he sees me with. I told him about trt. He went to the dr and his levels were low. He started treatment and long story short his wife now hates me. She has openly told me that its my fault that he wants to fuck her every day. He doesnt care that she is fat and ugly he just wants to put his dick in something and she happens to live in his house. I told him to get a gf but he has kids and morals and wont do it. She has relented to some degree and he says she will usually take one for the team a few days a week. He isnt happy but he is way more happy than he was when he was at best fucking once a month.
So it can be a double edge sword. If your like me and have access to hot ass whenever you feel like it I wouldn't hesitate to get my levels tested. If they come back low immediately start treatment. Maybe I am not normal but almost every guy I know who has started trt life has gotten way better at least as far as sexual performance and desire goes.
I will caution that you seek out someone who is very well versed in trt. Most dr's have very little understanding how to treat low t properly. If your dr tells you to get one injection a month go see someone else. If he doesn't put you on hcg he has zero understanding of trt and what it does to your body and you should find another dr.
