A Matter of Time

Hypothetically speaking, if a date is set for 3PM, you inform your date you need to shower and arrive a little early to do so. Are out by 3:05, then wait ten minutes for date to finish eating and smoking. Date begins at 3:15, and concludes at 3:40. How much actual date time has elapsed. Date wants additional gifts because she said date was for 3 and went longer than 3:30. Is date entitled to anything additional? All hypothectically speaking. Thanks for any input.

Really. And I don't think it's being picky, more like unreasonable. Since the 10 minutes that went over, i's the 10 minutes I had to wait for her.

Same. Smoking during a date especially just a hour date lol it can wait. It's just a hour. Now if your date is okay with it or invites to smoke during lets say more than a few hours after...

Why would you want to smell like smoke before a date? Lol

But here's my thoughts...

If your date started at 3p even if nothing happened until 3:15 your still paying for her time, meaning when you arrived, not the acts itself. I'm inexperienced with handling scenarios like that bc people just pay no matter if the acts only lasted 15mins. Time agreed on in the beginning is time agreed on.

It's best to keep things business but if you've been seeing this person for a while then maybe you could work out something--I wouldn't advise it bc then you'd most likely be very much avoided in future visits

The agreed upon time was 3. Agreed upon length was 30 minutes, to maybe extended to 60. I was ready at 3:05.Had to wait 10 minutes, for her to finish eating and smoke. Date concluded at 3:40. If there was any expectation of additional gifts, she shouldn't have been dressed ushering me out the door by 3:41. I had to wait 10 minutes, went 10 minutes over agreed upon time. Agreed upon gift was exchanged. If date ended at 3:40, don't see how I'm responsible for 60 minutes.

So the way I read this scenario is:
1) MB arrives on time and takes a 5min shower
2) MB waits 10min on his female counterpart to finish eating & smoking
3) Activities start at 15min after arrival
4) Date concludes 10min past scheduled time

Since she took 10min of MB's time he should be able to get it back

If I misunderstood what you wrote MB, please correct me. I've been in a very similar situation as this with the provider demanding extra.

You read that 100% correct. Precisely! If gifts for 60 minutes were wanted, there should have been a minimum of 20 additional minutes of activities! And that's eating the 10 minutes I waited on her!

This is ridiculous. It the date is delayed by 10 min, 15 min or more because of actions of the provider, it should NOT be counted towards the time for which donations are paid.
