Default Moving a Tracfone # to Google Voice?

Does anyone know if it is possible to do so?

Don't really need the tracfone anymore as I feel comfortable with the idea of Google Voice. would like to keep the old phone # though?

Sounds like a great idea! Discard a (presumably) untraceable burner Tracfone and use the largest data collection engine selling all of it's customer's personal communications to the NSA....
I say, go for it!

Free Google Voice does work very well and can easily link up with Tracfone but take it that this is not a great idea.

Concur...best to keep your Tracfone. Keep your hobby life separate from your RL. Consolidating with your RL device is not a good idea. As Anonymous states, why make it easier for the government to keep tabs on you.

Many ladies don’t like clients to use GV...they prefer a physical phone.

I've used GV for over 10 yrs without issue. I find having a 2nd, unexplainable physical phone to secure to be much more a security risk. When I am actively communicating with someone via GV, I just turn off the the Do Not Disturb,, and calls and texts come easily to my cell phone. The forwarding is invisible to the caller. Return calls and texts maintain the the GV identify as long as I reply to the intermediary number I received them on. When all is done, turn DND back on and all is secure. I use a burner G account for the GV number. I don't use the GV app, so it isn't on my phone. I access it through a secondary secure inocuous browser like Dolphin that can be setup to auto delete all history when it closes. GV works good via browser, you don't need to have the app on your phone. And if anybody thinks the NSA cares that you are setting an appointment with a provider, get over yourself. If you're doing other things with the burner, you've got other issues you should be more worried about.
