What happened to the Democratic Party?

They are now the unapologetic Democratic Socialist party. They complained about the Republicans being the party of old white people but almost everyone in Federal govt power is old and white: Bader Ginsberg, Pelosi, Shumer, on and on and on.

The new wave to Dims are extremely Socialist. I would characterize them as communists. The only difference is they want the existing fruits of capitalism to exist long enough to pay for the Socialism.

The heads of the DNC are just retarded offspring of Obama. Same philosophy without the education, acting skills and golden baritone. Most of the media doesn't back them, as much as they hate Trump. Unless they are pretty like that latina chick who graduated with an economics degree with honors but has virtually no clue.
