at least they are picking on a grown man this time. I thought the lack of protest for the Jaqueline Craig incident was pathetic. Fort Worthians have another chance, but they will do nothing. this guy is on his stomach getting punched repeatedly, screaming.

maybe the same 7-8 "Activists" will gather, who "organized" the protests for Craig.. but the Community at large will give a big yawn.

They didn't shoot him. That's improvement overall.

They guy was fleeing and made them run and then still resisted after they tackled him.

Read it but have not watched it.

Police, in a lot of these cases, go too far. This does not sound like one of those.

If they cuffed him and then proceeded to beat him more, that would be different.

Edit. Kind like the choking case in New York. The police told him he was being arrested. He could have let them take him into custody. He resisted, had a bad heart, and died.

His fault.

Going too far depends on a number of factors. Was he a known problem to police with prior arrest or with a history of violence? Do the arresting officers have a history of excessive force? I'm all for using force to put a bad guy down but once two officers put him down it's usually time to stop punching and kicking. We simply do not have the back story.

in that case, the accused look flabbergasted that a circle gang of Cops was taking him in for selling trinkets on the sidewalk.. issue a citation or something.. looked like a brutal show of force to me. the Dude was so fat he couldn't fight back.

agree.. you are sitting on top of him, he's not going anywhere. looks like a Rodney King-type whooping, a "take that" for making us work so hard to apprehend you.

But they advised him that's what was happening and talked to him for who knows how long.

Police should just say, "oh you don't want to be arrested and leave it at that?" Of course not.

Mr. Garner had every opportunity to go peacefully.

There are any number of examples where they do use excessive force. This may not be one. If they guy was still resisting, I'm not sure how else you get him to comply?

I'd be interested to see the body cam.footage.

We got burned pretty good with the last one Chung. I'm not jumping in the water just yet...

well, you got a point, grean.. as far as Garner, yeah, the Cops gave him every opportunity, and he had been cited previously.. I thought he was nuts refusing to submit to handcuffs. another part of me thinks the Cops were rogue animals, who went overboard.

this Fort Worth guy had been out of control, and maybe he was going to resist until he was beaten into submission? I don't know.. I don't like the looks of it, but I suspect, like Garner, he brought a lot on that would not have occurred, had he not been extra combative.

If an average citizen had pulled the same thing the cop did on Garner, that citizen would of been in prison for life.

after seeing a few videos and body cam footage.. I think the Fort Worth suspect had it coming.. Mother Fucker was hog wild on K2, foaming at the mouth, fighting, resisting.. and the Cops were not brutal with the punches, they were more "distractionary" then pulverizing blows.

It would serve many people well to look at the whole thing before jumping to conclusions.

See....same thing happened with mrs. Craig.

Got to have a lot more before I jump on that train.

They should have just shot him. Would save someone from getting killed by this guy in the future and get another POS off the streets.
