Signing petitions are not enough. Call your representatives. Reach out to them via email, twitter, etc. Rarely if ever do these online petitions actually go anywhere.

Petitions won't do anything.

Repeal isn't happening.

The only thing left is the Supreme Court, if it ever gets that far.

It will get to the Supreme Court.

It is undeniably unconstitutional.

One phrase alone makes it so.

The "ex post facto" rule.

Essentially you can't hold a website accountable for an ad posted 5 years ago.

It's more complicated than that as their are legal ways to make a law retroactive.

Ex Post Facto makes it more than just retroactive.

Look into it or check the main boards for multiple discussions of ex post facto, etc.

Actually the bigger impact is Microsoft restricting documents on the their 365 set up, which means legitimate business could be restricted because of this.

Hope you're right. Just because it goes to SCOTUS doesn't mean they will get it right. History is littered with decisions that are obviously incorrect i.e. FDR interment of the Japanese.

Also the court can cut away elements and leave the bulk of the law in place. With Obamacare the court tweaked the law so it could stand. Technically they should have just ruled against it and made congress rework those details.

With the title human trafficking being applied to all sex work, the court may not want to appear to be for human trafficking and may not do the right thing. They don't face reelection, but do have to face friends and family, and do care what is written about them.
