I have a few old school friends that require an ID before seeing a new client. Usually, they just want to see that the picture matches who they are meeting at the front door.
It’s not something that I do but the old ways of screening, which I actually miss right now, do require more personal information than what is generally given these days.
Really believe the whole ID requirement is a safety issue although who knows. Depending on who you’re dealing with, sharing such info could be dangerous.
If you don’t wish to share your personal information with an unknown company, then don’t. Certainly cannot blame you for that.
Eccie is now requiring a photo ID for new providers to be verified on this site. The reason being is to check their age and from my understanding, that’s the only reason. Just a little FYI. Erosguide require sex workers to send in a copy of an official drivers license or passport.
If a guy doesn’t have references, it’s a pretty good guess that you have to show an ID to preferred411, although I’m not positive of that.
There are lots of reasons why people wish to see a bona fide identification from someone.
I’m not sure of which agency that you’re speaking of but if sharing something that personal it’s just really not comfortable for you, then find an independent to visit. But you know that already.
Good luck.
