Voters spoke loud and clear last night, Jim.

Unlike the presidential race, the majority won .

Of course, we all know that the entire election was manufactured in Langley, right?

Fucking RETARD.

I never said that. So now you’re lying about lying.

Must have missed that part when you were arguing with the gatekeeper at UT.

why is it any wonder that government workers living in northern virginia, the growth of which has outpaced the growth in population of actual virginians, and has turned the state increasing blue, vote dimocrat?

what other "surprise" will you come up with concerning government union workers?

and how is that a referendum on anything other than these people wanting to continue feathering their nest?

The results in Virginia yesterday certainly cannot be positive for Republicans but it is a small bump in the road until next November. Trump's popularity remains in the mid 30s. In yesterday's gubernatorial voting in Virginia. 34% of the voters said they voted AGAINST Trump and 17% said the voted FOR Trump when casting their ballots.

"Almost six in 10 Virginians disapproved of the job Trump is doing as president, according to exit polling. Half of the Virginia electorate said that Trump was a major factor in their vote on Tuesday; of that group, twice as many said they saw their vote as a way to voice opposition to Trump as said they voted the way they did to express support for the President."

Trump has been in office 9 1/2 months. No major legislative victories. Trumpcare has been defeated so far. Tax reform is not certain. Mexico is not paying for "the wall". Yes, the economy continues to do well if you look at the DJIA, but only 52% of U.S. adults own stocks. So 48% don't care what the stock market does. And yes, it looks like there have been victories against ISIS in Iraq but it is too early to tell if ISIS attacks will decrease because of those victories.

The way I look at it is that no one who did not support Trump in 2016 is supporting him today. So it comes down to how many Trump supporters have moved away from him. Obviously some but enough to move swing states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, SC, Ohio, and NC from red to blue? Trump has about 8 months to get it together and make a positive impact on the 2018 elections.

And we're proud of it. People are people no matter what their sexual preferences are. I have, or have had, friends from each of the 4 categories. Different but equal in my opinion.

Did you notice that Virginia elected Danica Roem, an openly transgender person, to the Virginia House of Delegates? Beating a 26 year incumbent Bob Marshall who described himself as the state's "chief homophobe". One small step.

What you do sexually doesn't matter. It's who you do it with that does. So don't give me that "Sexual Preference" bullshit. As far as Virginia voting for a transgendered candidate all they did was vote for him to share in his delusion.

A Republican who distanced himself from President Trump gets beat by a conservative Democrat who actually embraces many of President Trump's immigration policies.

What does that say?
