Can Non Member "Perusers" see showcase details?

I got an email from a guy claiming to have gotten my email from my showcase but saying he isn't a member of this site. I disagree and think he is lying to keep his identity hidden. If that is the case I want him pointed for abuse. Please PM me mods.

Non-members can see your showcase. To test this, just open the website, but do not log on. Then go to your showcase and you can see everything a non-member can see, including your email address.

I hope I didn't overstep by responding to this post since I'm not staff. Just thought I would help out.

Is the fact that some random guy emailed you the abuse part here? ...and if that's the case why have contact info on your showcase if you don't want guys contacting you?

I thought the info was just for members where I could have contact without having to log in to see messages. It was a mistake and error on my part.
