Back in 96, when i was down in Mayport, the base MWR paid to get some of us Single folk to a Jaguars game, and one of our chiefs BACK HANDED a 17-18 yr old kid who refused to stop yabbering away to his GF during the anthem.. And got applauded for it by dozens of other fans.. AFTERWARDS..
I wonder, if he had done the same these days, would HE be the one getting bitched at?? rather than the ungrateful honorless dickwad who was speaking during the anthem..

the nfl really should disqualify those guys before they draft them. they are not worth it no matter how talented they are.
they are a waste of talent if they can't get their shit together.

If fans are NOT safe at a C&W concert ...
... why would they feel safe at a Pro Football game where the players, coaches, owners, and the NFL brass are calling the cops protecting them "pigs"?

Have you seen security at a NFL game or a College game for that matter?
Have you figured out how a shooter is going to gain an advantage from some building near the Texan Stadium.
And you make a good point without even realizing it.
LE can not protect you from random acts of violence.
That is why there are so many murder in this country.

I burn your nonsense with the truth.
The Police can not keep you safe from random acts of violence.
An NFL stadium is not like an open air concert near a Hi-Rise.
One is actually safer than the other....though I will continue to go to both. Safety is not an issue. It is like being scared to fly after a plane crash. It is call irrational fear....something folks like you are trying to exploit. And to be fair, folks on the left are trying to exploit.
You have a bigger chance of dying by Lighting Strike than being shot at a music festival.
Bush used this fear to invade Iraq after 9/11.

That's ok. Pretty soon there won't be any need for security at NFL games. Because there won't be anybody there to protect.

Sounds like you are a cop! Making excuses for the ineffective police work. Have you graduated from "SNITCH" to "OFFICER" now, or are you just doing law enforcement consultation contracting now?
You're ignorance of "threat assessments" is only surpassed by your ignorance of the trial of criminal cases like ...
the trial of Zimmerman for the killing of Martin for which you PREDICTED Zimmerman would get CONVICTED OF SOMETHING!!!!
And I didn't even mention your dumbass remark about Whitman's (UT Tower Sniper) "brain damage" as being the cause of him shooting people from the UT Tower!!!! As being an "example" of the Las Vegas shooter's "problem"!
You are an absolute loudmouthed KNOW-NOTHING!
Is there lightning outside near your hovel?

Lucky for you , you couldn't get a permit to drive on Campus
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/0...n_1384102.html
On August 1, 1966, Charles Whitman murdered his mother and his wife before traveling to the campus of the University of Texas, climbing inside the tower, and killing fourteen others. He was dubbed the infamous UT sniper, but his story involves much more than Marine Corps training and a proclivity for violence. In fact, Whitman complained of headaches and an altered mental state in the days and weeks leading up to the killings. His own suicide note read that “I do not really understand myself these days. I am supposed to be an average reasonable and intelligent young man. However, lately (I cannot recall when it started) I have been a victim of many unusual and irrational thoughts.”
Whitman knew that something was wrong. His note further reads, “After my death I wish that an autopsy would be performed on me to see if there is any visible physical disorder.” And indeed there was. Whitman was found to have a glioblastoma, a type of brain tumor, pressing against regions of the brain thought to be responsible for the regulation of strong emotions.
