Respectful Request to ladies considering a tour to Houston
Ladies,
Before embarking on a Houston tour in the next few months, I ask that you consider the plight of the ladies who call this wonderful city home. Many have been displaced from their homes loosing everything but the clothes on their backs. Most all of us have seen our homes and lives altered forevermore. We are all struggling at this time but have no choice other than putting on our big girl panties and getting to work rebuilding our lives.
Rebuilding will be easier if what little available hobby dollars being spent in the city are allowed to remain in the city. Our ladies need to work and you can easily go to another city to make your money.
Gentlemen, please give the local gals priority when you hobby in the near future.
We are Houston Strong and we will rebuild TOGETHER.

-100 Ms. Manning. Let's take this shit back to zero where it belongs. Asking traveling hookers to not visit your city is unreasonable. And considering the simple fact that a lot of men just had their disposable hooker income completely depleted in Houston; traveling hookers should be the least of your worries. #dumbhookerlogic

Harvey has left wide-rippling repercussions, indeed. While I understand and appreciate the post, thought-out and politely phrased...
My gal pal DallasRain had to cancel her Houston tour (she visits here frequently and has many fans) due to the hurricane, disappointing longtime regulars AND losing a lot of income herself. I lost biz as well because she's one of my two doubles partners and we had Fancy playtime scheduled, and since I have damage at the Irish Chihuahua Refuge, I certainly could use that missed money now.
She's postponed to early October, and we look forward to filling rain checks and our cavities then.
There's no doubt that things may get tight, as it will take a considerable period of time for a large chunk of Texas (not to mention portions of Louisiana and elsewhere) to recover with fun funds diverted to repairs rather than risque romps, but let's not drown our famed southern hospitality and friendliness along with our homes.
I imagine most traveling providers already realize this market is slutted right now, and just getting around the area and finding a reasonable hotel (due to scarcity with all of the displaced, expect lodging rates to rise, along with gas) may be a challenge.
Irish luck to us all!

Fancy, I'm sorry to read that Dallas' tour was canceled as a result of the hurricane. Bad timing for sure. I also hate to hear that you lost revenue as a result of her tour cancellation but bottom line is we all lost money and will continue to suffer for quite some time. My post is one of simple economics, keep local money local where its needed the most. Quite frankly I highly doubt you'd be arguing that side of the coin if a large block of your calendar and income had not been tied to a traveling lady.
I understand your point about southern hospitality but lets save that for the folks who are rushing to our city to help us not take money out of our pockets.
Lucas, You're right I have much bigger things to fret over, like my storm ravaged roof and water damaged first and second levels of my home.
I took a break from demolition and waiting on the insurance adjuster to fight for the ladies of Houston and I will NOT apologize for that.

Seems like the hotel prices are going to keep them away. A room I saw last week for $119 a night, is now $299 a night.

Sounds like restraint of trade, a possible violation of the federal Sherman Antitrust Act (26 Stat. 209, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1–7).

Yep. I'm absolutely aware of what happens when this city goes into recovery mode. Money gets really tight for the people who have suffered substantial loss.
There is nothing wrong with asking Houstonian's to support their own.

Surely you can ask for support without pussyblocking those who are touring. Each and every provider has their own reasons for touring a city at a certain time or place.
Speaking of which, a lot of ladies have migrated to Dallas. Check Dallas coed, do you see any threADs bitching about Houston ladies?

I appreciate what Macy posted and agree and support her and the idea of everybody helping each other out here.
But traveling providers will probably never read this thread.
And honestly, if a lady is traveling into a hurricane ravaged destination out of all the places in the United States she can go to...she may not be the sharpest tool in the shed.
I wouldn't worry about it.
