What happened in Vegas...SUCKED! Now I need some advice

I have a problem and i need some advice. I was going to Las Vegas for the George Strait concert with some buddies. A few weeks before we were set to leave, one of them flakes out. Instead of trying to sell the ticket, I decided I would try to find a provider to take to the show. The first girl to respond turns out to be my kind gal. We keep sending texts back and forth for the week before the show and we decide to go to Sapphire pool all day Saturday and then the concert that night. The logistics depended on when i arrived and when and where we'd meet Saturday. Friday night, my flight is delayed and i arrive at midnight. Get to the hotel at 1 and send her a text. She's out dancing at the Palms with some stripper friends. I felt it would be impolite to ask if i could join her, so i just confirmed that I'd be leaving my hotel for Sapphire around 1pm and that I'd call her in the morning so she could meet me and ride in the party bus with us. Now, my friends don't know I hobby and my plan was to make it like we met on the strip or in a casino, hit it off and now she is going to the club and concert. Saturday morning, I go to meet my friends at the hotel pool and my phone goes into the water! Not waterproof! I fish it and it is dead. No way to contact her. If I use a buddies phone to look her up on here, he could know about me and that would not be good. I get a bag of rice and try to dry it out. Sapphire is shot and I go alone. Nothing but HDH and GPS and I'm pissed off. Get back to the hotel, phone can send and recieve texts but no calls. I contact her and see if we can salvage the concert. One text from me, one text back from her and the phone shuts down again! I go to the concert alone no scalpers to be found to even get a few bucks! The next day, my phone is texting again and I want to apologize. She responds to repeated texts with, "you skipped out on me twice." Then radio silence. I don't want her pissed at me, but there wasn't much i could think to do at the time. We never discussed rates, it never got to that point. I offered if she ever visits my city, that I'd very much like to see her and make it up to her, but she may have me blocked already, I don't even blame her. But do I actually owe her anything? It wasn't like she actually came to meet me and I no showed. If the concensus is I do owe her, what? How much? She seemed like a cool chick that i could have forged a long term professional relationship with. Any advice?

I'm so sorry to hear of all that went wrong on your Vegas trip. Wow that's just bad luck. Unfortunately in Vegas that happens all the time to providers so I'm sure she doesn't believe you. Nothing you could do but move on. You already tried to apologize so I don't see why you owe her anything. It happens in Vegas so I'm not surprised that she won't talk to you. I've had my share of providers cancel on me for various reasons and I just move on to the next lady. Hopefully your next trip will be better.

It definitely sucks but like GG said, it happens to us ALL THE TIME so even if you are telling the truth, its very hard for us to believe. If you offered an explanation and an apology I would think you're good. Unless she has a cancellation policy on her website, then I would refer to that.

Should've gotten a burner phone and tell her to contact you on that as soon as the original phone came back up. Forget her, she has you on her no list now.

He didn't want her that bad....you can get a cheap burner at CVS/Walgreens on just about every corner on the strip.

in Vegas I have learned that anything can happen and it goes both ways, happens to the girls so have a backup plan because they sure as hell keep their options open

last trip a girl who I pre-booked with had to cancel, because her main job had her do a last minute double shift - it happens, so fine, then the backup plan couldn't find my room twice and didn't think about msg me or calling (yea that BS happens)
fortunately the lovely super sweet Amazing 4ariel saved the night (gonna be calling u again lovely)

happens when guys get wasted or change plans on the girls, they got bills to pay too, so wont wait around for us all the time, when times are missed.

gotta agree with the girl who said burner phone tho

You mention "HDH" & "GPS" but yet a burner phone is available at the Dollar Store for $20-$29. Could it be you're cheap? Budget pussy on vacay time? Good luck next trip.

Yes indeed...this what be having me dying laughing, not only his post but ya'll with the comments Cause I swear I dropped my phone in the tub....no rice, no saving it....but uuuh I literally walked 25 mins to a Walmart on a country ass road to get a new one, 10 mins later I was done, calling a cab to bring my butt back to the house so I could sync my phone with all my contacts...took me an hour at most! but hey yea at least the dog didn't eat ya homework or shoes lmao.....ya'll stop playing with this man, he dead ass serious....but I say if you feel that bad send her bout $100 bucks, I promise you'll feel better
