Well actually Viagra was first used as a heart medication. Several cardiologists noticed it was pretty good at helping older men obtain erections and less effective as a heart med. So it was marketed for ED. PTSD causes a host of emotional issues anxiety, depression and some of the medications cause ED so they apparently recommend Viagra to help soldiers with ED issues associated with the side affects of medications.
