They had to lie to get it passed. Everyone knew Obamacare would fail, it was basically designed to fail so they could get the single payer system they wanted in the first place. At that time they could not get a single payer bill passed, so they used Obamacare as a stepping stone. Everything is going as planned, except Trump getting elected. They government will not give up the power over healthcare the Democrats have handed it. These entitlement programs almost never go away once passed.

Totally agree GOB. We spend over 20 billion a year on farm welfare and subsidies. Most of this money goes to corporations and millionaires, not the "family farmer". Not many Family farms around anymore yet we continue to hand out these breaks to the wealthy

Keeps food costs low. Trickle down economics

Now lets get that Helath Bill and Tax Reform going. Its killing the economy. Especially here in Dallas

We actually agree on the AG hand outs. In regards to healthcare, take .gov back out of it. Repeal Obamacare, period.

They never go away Period. Not just almost.

I dare anyone to find a single entitlement program that has successfully been ended/cancelled..

I have NEVER seen .gov identify a problem, then create a program to fix the problem, then solve the problem and the program goes away. Obamacare made health insurance unaffordable for the middle class. For many, it is their most expensive bill every month.

I heard Bernie the commie Sanders whining bout Trump letting Obamacare fail and only one of the two in this sentence voted for it.
Maybe we should have read it before passing it to find out what was in it instead of the Pelosi way of doing things.
How many Republicans voted for the ACA again?

I strongly disagree with this part of your statement. It's almost as if Dallas were recession proof from my point of view. I actually relocated to Dallas after the "recession" due to the abundance of jobs in the area. Dallas was virtually unaffected, if you were in the Carolinas, or in coal country, or something I could sympathize. But not Dallas definitely not Dallas!

Just like, when doing a brief bit on the weather channel, they were on about a town in Pennsylvania, that has been decimated THREE times in a 40 year period, by floods, the last of which pushed the president at the time, to declare it a FEDERAL disaster, and as such they installed a Tax to help rebuild the city..

BUT SINCE THEY city never rebuild as too many people finally got the hint and moved elsewhere, the TAX HAS NEVER STOPPED.. 70+ years later..
