Mexican Romance Scam
This usually involves older American gents, who are lonely and have money.
They go inside a Men’s Club. There they seem to hit it off with a dancer, they go again and hit it off with the same dancer. They might pay for an overnight, which is cheap enough. At this point in time now comes the danger of being romantically involved thinking this lady just might marry you. What will happen is there will be emergency requests for money e.g. “my baby had to go to hospital and needs medicine” be aware Citizens of Mexico receive free health care.
At this point in time, one needs to treat these ladies as ‘Sugar Babies’ [at least for now]. Place them on a monthly allowance for x number of sleepovers. For example, I will give you $xxx for x number of sleepovers. Be aware Mexican middle class wage might be around $5,000 year. Be also aware that these ladies just might have real husbands (pimps) that share in the loot received. If they take you on shopping trips at least you know that they are actually getting and keeping the stuff, instead of their husband grabbing the money for himself for booze and other women. Another way is to actually bring stuff to these ladies; examples: window air conditioner, baby playpen, chest of drawers, etc. Be aware they just might two or more Facebook entries one saying that they are single, the other saying they are married to someone. Write down the list the Friends on their Facebook page, and then at least one can go to a Friends list of Friends and see if there is a similar looking listing. Maybe you want to bring the lady to America for an overnight stay; first step is for her to get a Mexican Passport, which might cost up to $150. Go ahead and give her the money but say when the lady presents a receipt for the payment,(example) ‘I will give you $35.00 when you show me the receipt, and when you show me your actual passport I will give you another $35.00.’ This way you are forcing her to go through with the Passport process instead of her possible pimp husband grabbing the whole $150. If she doesn’t come up with a receipt, break off the relationship now! Another possibility is the lady is not Mexican at all but an illegal from Guatemala or wherever. The subject of visas is beyond the scope of this article but what might work is for both of you to show up at a Customs crossing point and beg for a 48-hour temporary visa for your sweetheart and show her the USA and how we live. Another warning sign is a request for money via Western Union. The problem to look for is they request that you to send the money to another person “I lost my credential” or half goes to one other person the other half to her. This is a sure sign that there is a pimp involved, as she can tell the pimp that she only received this amount that is on the Western Union receipt. The other possibility is she is cheating the ‘cartel’ out of their cut. There is a possibility that the club where the lady works might demand a cut from outside activities from club customers. Do not give her expensive jewelry or even cars, unless that is within the budget allowance. Be wary of unexpected requests for odd ball stuff such as commercial sized barbecue sets when she doesn’t even have household necessities yet, somebody else in the background is in need for these items.

Once you are absolutely positive there are no pimps or husbands in her background, then she can be advanced to fiancé if you wish.
As you can guess I was a victim of the Mexican Romance Scam, having said that I had an extraordinary wonderful experience.
