as usual your logic is flawed and biased. by your logic Comey should have recommended charges against Clinton. Comey stated there was no intent by Clinton to expose classified data to foreign entities. Well the law doesn't require that, even an accidental mishandling is enough for charges.
so you are claiming that its clear Trump's intent was to pressure Comey to drop the investigation? then why didn't he just directly tell him so? he can as President actually. your inference doesn't fit the requirements for Obstruction. you'd have a lot better case if Trump had directly told Comey to drop the investigation and then Comey under oath could state that.
as it stands, Trump's comments aren't even clearly a suggestion let alone a directive to halt the investigation. it could just as easily mean Trump wished the investigation to be wrapped up quickly. and we are only hearing "unnamed sources" putting these so-called quotes out there in the media. what does the actual memo say? we shall see.
until then the memo isn't the smoking gun you want it to be.
