I find it interesting that so many here would be so opposed to idea that a gay person would be represented in a commercial. Here on a site devoted to discussion and interactions within a sector of sexuality that American society has largely deemed deviant and unacceptable.
Of course we know that what we do, and desire to do, in a private setting with consenting adults is a normal and functional expression of our sexual nature. Many of us most likely do not discuss these activities at the dinner table, or in the work place as it is not socially acceptable. Do we not have a lot in common with the gay community?
Is it not possible that they are expressing themselves just as we are? Are the fantasies and desires a gay person indulges in that much unlike ours?
Prejudice is the agenda I am most frustrated with.
